In my continued journey of learning Unreal Engine and developing projects, I aimed to fully leverage the Marketplace assets and create a scene from scratch. I hand-painted the landscape and designed the landscape shader within Unreal. To achieve a lush forest atmosphere and enhance the secluded, unique feel of the campsite, I used a combination of Unreal foliage, Marketplace assets, and custom foliage modeled in Maya. I also explored various atmospheric tools, including Sky Atmosphere, Height Fog, and Sunlight. This project solidified my confidence in working across different 3D software and mastering workflows within Unreal Engine itself.
